About the role

We're hiring our second designer to work alongside our founding designer and the engineering team. You'll own the design of key product areas — the landing page builder, analytics dashboard, and email tools.

At GetLaunchDay, design isn't a service team. Designers sit inside the product team, talk to customers, make product decisions, and ship alongside engineers. We use Figma, and our design system is mature enough to move fast but flexible enough to experiment.

What you'll do

Own product design for major feature areas (builder, analytics, emails)

Conduct and synthesize user research — interviews, surveys, session analysis

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma

Collaborate directly with engineers on implementation — no handoff process

Evolve and maintain the design system

Define interaction patterns for complex UIs (drag-and-drop, inline editing)

Run design critiques and share work openly

Advocate for the user in every product and engineering discussion

What we're looking for

4+ years of product design experience for web applications

Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work (not just visual)

Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants)

Experience designing data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, analytics, tables)

Solid understanding of design systems and component libraries

User research skills — you can plan, run, and synthesize a study

Excellent written communication and ability to articulate design decisions

Nice to have

Experience designing page builders or drag-and-drop editors

Basic coding skills (HTML/CSS, React to prototype)

Experience with design for AI-powered products

Previous experience at a startup (under 20 people)

Motion design or micro-interaction skills (Framer Motion, Lottie)
