Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines prohibited activities when using GetLaunchDay. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the platform.

Prohibited content

You may not use GetLaunchDay to create, host, or distribute:

• Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or incites hatred against individuals or groups.
• Content that is sexually explicit, exploitative, or involves minors in any way.
• Content designed to deceive, defraud, or scam users (phishing pages, fake checkout flows, pyramid schemes).
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights.
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Malware, spyware, or any software designed to harm or gain unauthorized access to devices or data.

Prohibited activities

You may not:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) through our email features.
• Harvest or scrape email addresses or personal data from the platform.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage quotas, or security controls.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without authorization.
• Share, resell, or redistribute access to your account or API keys.
• Impersonate another person, brand, or organization.
• Interfere with the performance, availability, or integrity of the Service.
• Use the platform to conduct competitive benchmarking or reverse engineering.

Email & messaging rules

When using GetLaunchDay's email features, you must:

• Only send emails to recipients who have explicitly opted in (double opt-in recommended).
• Include a clear and functional unsubscribe link in every email.
• Identify yourself accurately in the 'From' field and email content.
• Comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and all other applicable anti-spam regulations.
• Not exceed reasonable sending limits — sustained abuse will result in throttling or suspension.

Resource usage

Your use of the platform must remain within the resource limits of your subscription plan. Activities that consume disproportionate server resources (e.g., crypto mining, DDoS attacks, excessive API calls) are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.

Enforcement

We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the severity, we may:

• Issue a warning and request remediation within 24 hours.
• Temporarily suspend the offending page, campaign, or feature.
• Permanently suspend or terminate your account without refund.
• Report illegal activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy without prior notice.

Reporting violations

If you encounter content or activity on GetLaunchDay that violates this policy, please report it to abuse@getlaunchday.com. We investigate all reports and respond within 48 hours.

Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
